Jelena Nikolić graduated from the Department of Anglistics at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade in 1998 and earned the title of English language and literature professor, master’s level. Since 2016, she has been working at the University of Singidunum as a professor of English language. She is engaged in teaching English Language 1, 2, 3, and 4 at different faculties (Faculty of Business, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science). Additionally, she teaches Descriptive Grammar at the Department of Anglistics and is part of the University of Singidunum’s Foreign Language Center.

Jelena has gained extensive experience at the Institute of Foreign Languages, where she worked as an English language professor since 2001, teaching students of different ages and proficiency levels. She participated in preparing students for Cambridge English First (FCE) and Advanced (CAE) exams. During her time at the Institute of Foreign Languages, she was involved in lesson planning and delivery, creating teaching and competitive tests and exam questions for all levels, selecting new audio-visual material, utilizing modern teaching tools and methods, as well as supervising and mentoring junior professors. She continuously improved her skills and attended numerous seminars.

Before that, she worked as a professor at the Military Academy and as a translator at JAT (Yugoslav Airlines).
