The instructor’s biography
Dr. Goran Avlijaš specializes in specialized management disciplines with a focus on project and operational management. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, and his doctoral studies at the University of Singidunum in Belgrade. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Project Management Association (IPMA), holding certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). He is the author of two textbooks and numerous papers published in reputable international and domestic journals and conferences.
Dr. Avlijaš has participated in multiple Erasmus+ K2 projects in the field of education, which were financed by the European Union. As a visiting lecturer, he has been engaged in teaching the subject of Project Planning, Management, and Evaluation at the International College of the National Institute of Development Administration (ICONIDA) in Thailand. He has also mentored several training programs in project management and entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, Dr. Avlijaš served as the mentor of the winning team that represented Serbia in the International Project Management Championships 2020, organized by IPMA.
